through a flexible commercial licensing
program. For more information please contact Biolog now at pmmarketing@biolog.com.
Not-For-Profit Organizations
Access to PM technology can be obtained
in 3 ways:
1. PM kits
Laboratories can purchase PM kits to test
microbial strains with a set of 4 PMs:
PM1&2 Carbon metabolism
PM3 Basic Nitrogen metabolism
PM4 Phosphorus and Sulfur metabolism
Examples of data obtained
with several important microbial species
is shown below for
Escherichia
coli W3110
Escherichia
coli MG1655
Salmonella
typhimurium LT2
Sinorhizobium
meliloti
Pseudomonas
aeruginosa
Burkholderia
cepacia
Ralstonia
pickettii
Ralstonia
solanacearum
Vibrio
fluvialis
Listeria
innocua
Listeria
monocytogenes
PM kits are only available for use with
certain microbial species. To be approved
for
purchasing these products, fill out and
submit the Request Form below.
2. PM services
Laboratories can send us their strains and we will test them and send back data obtained
from using the complete set of 16 to 20 PMs:
PM1&2 Carbon metabolism
PM3 Basic Nitrogen metabolism
PM4 Phosphorus and Sulfur metabolism
PM5 Biosynthetic pathways
PM6,7&8 Additional Nitrogen metabolism
PM9 Ionic and osmotic stresses
PM10 pH stresses and control
6 to 10 additional PMs to measure sensitivity of cells
to up to 240 inhibitors of different pathways and functions
PM sevices are only available for certain microbial species. For further information on PM Services and purchasing instructions, please click here.
3. PM technology licensing and acquisition
For large scale projects where a research group or department is planning a large and
ongoing phenotyping program, we offer access through a flexible commercial licensing
program.
